iCloud Hide a folder in iCloud

Is there a way to hide folders in iCloud (on iOS, macOS, etcetera)?
Honestly, I thought this process would be as simple as long press on a folder in Files (app on iOS) and choosing a context menu for hide. But, nope...

I believe you can hide a folder by renaming in with a period (.) in the beginning of the folder name

Folder to .Folder

Not sure about if it syncs to iCloud thou...
