Does anyone know if there's any software app out there that adds the functionality of being able to click a button (eg on the window frame, eg a blue one next to the others) that hides the application?

I'm a switcher so have been conditioned to be heavily mouse dependent.

Even a button on the menu bar that would hide the app with focus would be a start.

I just want a button, instead of keyboard or hunting thru menus!

:)

thanks

That is what the yellow skittle is for.
If you mean to minimize all windows, then its Option+Yellow Skittle.
To Hide Outright its Command (Apple) + H

Thanks for the tip TEG but it's still not what I want. I want to be able to Hide an app with a single click.

PS I just discovered a useless trick. If you hold Shift and click minimize it minimizes reallllly slowlllyyy

thanks

And if you hold it while using Expose (assuming you have Panther) windows shift slowly.
