Is it possible to permantly hide this bottom bar when you have the Magic Keyboard attached? Quite often it blocks what I’m reading or typing in the apps I’m using in Slide Over mode.

You can temp get rid of it by pressing the arrow at the right and then one of the keyboard shaped buttons, but I don’t think it’s possible to remove it permanently. I have the same issue though and it’s annoying. I put in a bug report about it, you should too.


It’s called the swipe indicator, and nope, you can’t get rid of it.
Don’t think they’re referring to that.

You are absolutely going to enjoy iPadOS 15… they made the shortcut narrower. But this is how you remove it below..
