No, we don't have any control over this. It's essentially an email relay service and Apple strips out your name when it gets forwarded on to the recipient. The recipient should only see your 'Hide My Email' email address as the From.

Whoa, whoa, to confirm, are you saying when the recipient receives my email, it will not show my name, or the email address?

If so, that is BRILLIANT!

Correct. You could always test this out by sending to another email account you have access to (or to a friend), to get familiarized with how it works. If done correctly, they will just see something like funky_brains5u@icloud.com or whatever silly email address is generated for you.

I'm not exactly a fan of the addresses they come up with. I wish it was just a random string of letters and numbers, but I suppose that would be more likely to hit spam filters.

THANKS! I just tested it, and you are right, no name shows.
Albeit, in my test, it went to a Junk folder. LOL - I do agree, the email address needs to be 'better'...
