Is there a way when one is browsing a website, and need to sign up, one can simply 'choose' one of their 'Hide My Email' addresses from a list/dropdown?

I was on a website today, and to get a quote I needed to provide my email address.
Honestly, I do not even remember my Hide My Email address(es). So, I had to go to Settings \ Apple ID, etcetera, and memorize the email address and type it in manually.

That's inefficient, no? Suggestions please...

In iOS/iPadOS, you can long press the hidden email address to copy it. In macOS, there is a ‘Copy Email’ button. No need to memorize the email address to type it in manually.

However, are you not getting the option to create a new hidden email address on the fly, or to select an existing hidden email address if one already has been created for that site? Of course this depends on if the site is coded correctly for Safari to recognize it as an email field.

In my experience, I’m given the option to autofill my real email address, or to generate/autofill a new hidden email address (or autofill an existing one I’ve created on that site before).

Also, ideally you shouldn’t be reusing your hidden email addresses, as one of the nice features is that you can disable it when you no longer want it. Say you gave a hidden email address to Wonka Industries and you also gave the same hidden email address to Acme Corp. Acme Corp is now spamming you, and you don’t want any contact with them anymore. You can’t exactly disable that hidden email address now because it’ll also cut off communication with Wonka Industries too. It’d be best to create a new hidden email address every time one is needed (or use the same one per site/company). For that reason alone is probably why Apple doesn’t let us pick from a list. They want you to create a new one (or use an existing one that was created on that site before).

Brilliant info, thanks for taking the time to give such a detailed response.
To confirm, maybe am not seeing the option to merely select my 'hidden email address', because I am using Google Chrome. I will test it with Safari.

Again, thanks for the tips...
