Hide the keyboard in Messages app

This has been driving me crazy since the first day with my first iPhone - once you start typing a text the only way to hide the keyboard was to go out of that message thread, into another, and then back to the original. Not anymore! Drag the whole message window down. Win!

I agree, this drove me mad. Glad they have finally addressed it.

That's awesome! That always annoyed me too that you couldn't do that!

I haven't been able to download iOS 5 yet, but I figured my favorite features would actually be the little things like that. I think I might be right.
