I installed a few safari extensions and then realized my Toolbar was no longer hidden. I pressed (CMD+opt+T), right clicked the toolbar itself, and checked the view menu, but it appears I can no longer hide the toolbar.

I've uninstalled the extensions, set the toolbar back to default, relaunched safari, created a test account to see if it was local to the user and updated to El Capitan. But nothing has worked. Is it possible to reinstall safari? or are there any other suggestions.

Why do you want to hide the toolbar? There isn’t even a separate bar for the window buttons.

I guess it was disabled as a security measure, so you can always know on which site you are.

So you think it's just safari 9?
