Hiding in Apple Store Bathroom!

An interesting idea the came to mind. Apple stores will close from 2pm to 6pm for the iPhone launch.

Now what if you decided to "use" the restroom at about 1:45pm or so. Then "James Bond style" hide in one of the stalls by standing on the toilet. :) While the store closed.

You would then be priviledged to spy on the Apple Store employees as they set up for the iPhone bonanza.

The Unfortunate consequences include:

1)They find you and you are escorted out by security
2)You fall in the toilet
3)or You succeed in your spying game but are unable to buy an iPhone because you end up last in line (unless you find a way to "quietly" sneak into the line at 6:15pm or so.)

What do you guys think? I myself would never do this. However it is an entertaining thought.

Make sure to put your phone on silent/vibrate if you do this.

Also, if you're going to be standing in ^h^h on a toilet for a few hours, please ensure take your shoes off any time you visit friends..

In the Apple store I worked in bathrooms were not publicly accessible. If you were about to spend a boat load of money and needed to pee we might let you use the bathrooms. But you were escorted to the bathrooms with an employee.
 
The down side is that you would eventually have to tell your friends you camped out in a bathroom to spy on people setting up displays. You'd score higher on the coolness factor if you could get a job there by tomorrow.
 
Then you can come out of the bathroom at 6:01 and the staff will tell you, the line is over there.

The problem: I can see a little *HOT*chick (mac geek perferably) walkin into the bathroom, plunger in hand, and try to open a stall w/ a 300 pounder in it. lmao

I can imagine it now....trailing off to .....{Dream Effect....

You witness the employees all completely silent as a floating capsule makes it way from the back room. Beneath the capsule a light foggy mist is emitted with a subtle blue tinge. Upon reaching the center of the Apple Store the capsule opens bathing the entire store with a blinding white light and lighting flashes in the shape of the :apple: logo. Then when the light subsides from within the fog hundreds of iPhones float silently to their resting spots on the wooden table displays as the employees raise their hands in awe. .

I'd imagine that the employees would find it extremely comical to, knowing that you're in there, leave you in there until right before they open the doors at 6pm and then send you out to go get in line.

The bathroom's don't have "stalls" and it isn't in the "back of the house".

The bathrooms, at least the ones I've seen, are large rooms with a single toilet and sink. One for men, one for women. (I would guess Flagship stores have more bathrooms.) They're located in the back of the store (not in the stockroom). When I've seen stores about to close, employees check the bathroom before the last customer leaves and then keep an eye on the doors, to make sure no one gets locked in overnight.

Besides, don't you think the people in line would notice and make a fuss (and potentially beat you up) if you jump ahead of people who've been standing there since 5am?

You'd be surprised.

And I'd also be surprised if they didn't check all the bathrooms right after 2. You'd be better off trying to stuff yourself in and hide in a PowerMac Box :D
