iPhone High Background Usage

Has twitter been using a lot of background usage for anyone while having background app refresh off? Seems likes it's more than usual now.

When I close the app out of the app switcher the background usage is almost zero.

What is wrong with high background usage? High background cpu usage with low battery usage means the app is efficient.

If you are concerned about battery life, you should watch out for apps that have low background/foreground usage with high battery life use.

Well-said, Sir. Like facebook for example, 40 mins foreground usage - 3 mins background usage and top on the usage list!

My Twitter usage will be reversed. I will have more background than foreground usage. This is a recent event. It started with twitters last update.
