Hi All,
This a stupid yet irritating problem with my macbook. Whenever i push the right side of the touchpad button i hear high pitch noise. It is a mechanical noise like the spring on the right side of the touch pad is a little off. The center and the left side are silent. I am probably the only person who notices it but it does bother me. Has anyone else had this problem? I still have some time on my warranty, is it worth it to send it to apple? I am afraid it could be a problem that could get worse with time. What do you think?
Thanks for your input. I love Apple and I love the forum... so helpful.

it is like a high-pitch click.

Mine has that on the left side. Uneven trackpad button, talked about in the forum quite a bit. See if it flattens out from use, otherwise take it in to the shop and have it replaced. if your screen is good, I wouldn't risk a whole new lappy by swapping the machine itself.
