Hi~

There are a few questions I'd like to ask about re-selling a MBP.

1) Do you think if most people would prefer a 15" or 17" MBP? (what about the grainy screen problem?)

2) Which screen type do most people prefer? (Glossy or Anti-glare? I'm assuming Matted screens maybe?)

3) I know a person who changes his PC laptop from time to time so that he can always use a newer computer (selling his laptop and buying a new one every couple of months).
Is it true that older MBPs will significantly depreciate in value once newer ones are out? As MOST MBP users are professionals, and professionals like top-of-the-line MBPs (they want the latest specs)?

4) Where is the best place to sell a used MBP? eBay?

Thank you so much for your input. :)

P.S. I don't own a MBP yet. I'm planning on buying one within the next 3 months (still struggling on whether or not to wait for Leopard and possible upgrades).

most ppl prefer 15" without grainy screen.

half prefer glossy, half prefer matte

when a newer version of anything comes out, the older version depreciate.

ebay is a good indicator how much a thing would sell. craigslist is a good place too ... ppl shop there dont do as much research on pricing, so they might be paying a bit more ... but also ppl on there are usually not rich, so they might not buy too expensive stuff...

if you want to buy a machine, consider your own need, not how much other ppl might want it after you dont anymore:rolleyes:
