Got a brand new 14“ M4Pro MBP. Already second unit since the first one had a defective screen coating. This one makes a faint clicking noise on the lower left corner of the screen when closing the lid after it’s been fully opened. You can hear it on the attached video. Is this the hinge and will it break in or is it the screen? Is this a fault to return an otherwise perfect MBP and enter the next round of the return game or a keeper? Many questions and a big thx for your expertise.

My response from your other thread:

I’d be worried the hinge is clipping the video cable or something. I just opened/closed the lid on mine multiple times with my ear right up to it and it’s silent with zero clicking. If it’s easily repeatable, bring it to the Genius Bar and have them examine it.
