I have only recently discovered my Imac left speaker, the one near the Power Button, hissing.
I have no idea why, but it is sometimes loud and goes quiet, or quiet and goes loud.
It happens when something triggers the audio, i.e. when I press Volume UP or Volume DOWN. Or music or whatever.
Sometimes it just randomly starts hissing too.
And what else is strange, is that when it is hissing, and the computer is doing something, i.e. reading media, or loading a program, the hissing jumps and fidgets, quiet loud quiet loud. All over the place.
It's REALLY annoying.
Does anyone else have this problem???

My Imac is a 2007 Alu 2.4Ghtz, 320Gb HDD, 4Gb Ram, 24" Screen.
