History on iPhone 6

Could someone tell me please if there is a "history" in some form on my iphone6
as is found on my Mac Pro, in the menu bar?

Do you mean is there a History in Safari for iOS?

If so, then yes there is.

To quickly see the tab’s history. Touch and hold the page back "<" or page forward ">" ..

To see the History, click the bookmarks icon (open book) at the bottom of Safari and click the Bookmarks icon at the top and select "History >"

I've got the tabs history but cannot find the bookmarks icon on my iphone6. SORRY. I am trying very hard to do this.

The bottom bar on safari goes back, forward, share sheet, book marks and then tab switcher. Click the book icon. Then, make sure you're on the far left tab which is also a book. From there you can click history.

I have just "upgraded" to Yosemite and HoHo Yes , my computer has slowed down. Can I improve this situation, and how will I do it. Could you relate this info in basic terms please.
