Just wondering if anyone here is using the spam call blocking app Hiya? And if so how is it working for you? It's got good reviews but not sure it's working the way it's supposed to. I updated to 10.0.3 as requested to fix a bug but to no avail.

I started using it last week and it seems to work pretty well. Calls from numbers not in your contact list are the ones that seem to be validated against their list of known scammers/telemarketers. Not a single message/callback from a number that's been flagged thus far. I've also has some show up as both suspected and known scammers/telemarketers.

I use it. I also have Trucaller but am waiting for that to be updated. I know I read elsewhere that there are issues wtih CallKit and that Apple is aware and working on it. Other than that, I haven't really had too many issues with it

Thanks guys. Then tell me this. I have my settings currently to "block" both scam and spam. With it set to block will the blocked calls show up in any log or just simply blocked?

That I do not know. I would imagine it would actually block them but I'm not sure. I know blocked voicemails show in the voicemail app under blocked calls
