HL1 and mods: when are they coming to the mac?

When steam for mac was first announced I was well excited about this as I would be able to play DOD and cs 1.6 natively in OS X. Now, almost 5 months later, I am still waiting. Does anyone know when theyll be released?

Most likely never. As far as I know Valve is only porting the Source engine based games to the Mac (HL2, CS: Source, etc).
