I'm wondering if it would be possible to use 2 videocards in my Mac Pro, the original 7300GT for OS X and a 2nd videocard for Windows... the reason for this is I don't really want to pony up 400$ for a Mac X1900XT when I could get something like a X1950Pro (when its out) for half the cash or so...

So is it possible? Is it as simple as putting both cards in and forgetting about it? What must be done?

from what i gather
i belive it's possible to use 2 differnt card one per OS
the problem is i think if OSX doesn't have the driver for the card or a driver to sub in.. it will do a kernel panic... i think havn't tried this out yet myself

no it won't kernel panic, it'll just ignore the card.

Someone already tested it with a 7900 GT and a 7300
