iPad mini Holiday Calendar Alerts?

Hello,

I have an iPad Mini 4 (Wi-Fi) and an iPhone 6 Plus...I have a question about Holiday alerts on my iPad Mini 4. I have alerts turned on for Holidays on both devices but for some reason I only get Holiday alerts on my phone but not my iPad.

I do get my alerts for normal appointments I make on my calendar on both devices but for some reason, when it comes to Holiday alerts, they only seem to come through on my iPhone. Any ideas?
