Hi

I have really good news. So i just got this HUGE bonus check for $10 000. so i decided to give $2500 to my ever-growing savings account. So i baisically have an extra $7500 to spend!

So my current set-up is a iMac 17", eyeTV, a pair of 2.1 creative speakers.

So i guess my first step would be upgrading ram. after that i'm open to any suggestions. i mainly just do some video and music editing for my friends, leisure, etc.

So post your suggestions.

PS dont suggest a MacPro:)

If you want to put some if it into computer stuff, hold onto it and buy a 24'' next-gen iMac when they are released. Just cuz you have money now doesn't mean you need to spend it now.

(A 17'' screen really is tiny...)

If you believe in the company why not buy $7500 worth of mac stock.

As to the $2500. Hold on, get ready to eBay the 17" (or put it in the Kitchen), then buy a shiny new iMac when released.

First, that would be Apple stock, not Mac stock. Second, while I'm not saying it won't keep going up, because I believe it will, right now might not be the best time to buy. AAPL hit an all time high today.
