Wondering what everyone has their haptic feedback set to for the home button. Only applies to iPhone 7, 7+, 8, 8+, and SE 2020 or any iPad that has the pressure sensor home button.

I played around for a few weeks. The 1 is fine, but I always pushed harder on glass to make it work (because it gave stronger feedback).

3 just seemed unnecessarily strong.

2 really is just perfect to feel like a button.

Almost voted but then realized I only have a home button on my iPad mini. It’s set to 2, not that this biased/classist/#@$*% poll cares. Never mind this knucklehead.

I set it to 3 on my 7+. None of them feels like a real button obviously, but I feel 3 at least gives the strongest feedback.

I had mine at 2 but then put a case on and it just doesn’t feel as solid. Bumped it to 3 and it feels much better.

Yeah good point. I don't use screen protector or large cases, so the haptic feedback might have to be stronger if you do.

Lol yeah I’ve been experimenting with mine. I can still feel all 3 settings with the case on but none of them feel “right” which is what another poster pointed out. 🤷‍♂️ I’ll just keep playin around with it.

My apologies. My iPad is 8 or so years old and it never occurred to me that they had the pressure sensor home buttons. I listed out iPhones just because it’s what popped in my head.

I've always used 3. It just feels so tactile and satisfying to me.

I like that it almost feels like a real button.

No apology needed. They don’t. I’m a knuckle head. I confused a 7+ for my mini. I have 7+ set to 2.
