iPhone Home button sometimes doesn't register 6 plus

I don't think it's hardware - sometimes when I click my home button it wont go back to home screen. Usually works but happens randomly sometimes.

Does anyone have this issue and what could be the cause

Do you have Auxo 3? If so, I know that has been known to cause this and supposedly fixed in next weeks update.
