Home controls in Control Center question

What is the criteria for homekit devices to appear in the control center? I've read that it shows favorites, but I've got a couple of outlets that appear that are not marked as a favorite, so that must not be accurate.

I’d like to know this as well. My garage door opener is not a favorite since I don’t what it to show up as I don’t want to accidentally trigger it. It shows up in control center. As such I had to turn that feature off.

Would like to know this as well. I don't want things I can accidentally tap. No way to adjust it.
