I need some help. I am currently looking to build a house and would like to design and see it all on the computer. Unfortunately I've yet to stumble across any software similar to punch or Better Homes and Gardens. I would like something that extensively does exterior, interior, landscaping, and decking for >$150US. Any help/suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated.

DesignWorkshop Classic Home Design: http://www.artifice.com/dw_classic.html $100 (Requires classic or OS9) There is a lite version for free.

Microspot Interiors: http://www.microspot.com/products/interiors/index.htm $129

Design your own home 3D walkaround: http://www.theliquidateher.com/dyoh3dwalkaround-macintosh.html $20 (requires Classic or OS9)

Design Home CG: http://www.housenetworks.jp/ (In japanese, don't know if there's an English version.)

Architectural design CAD: http://www.interstudio.net/DomusCadE.html (professional range of prices, but there is a free Beta for OSX going)

CHeck out this page for more info on home design packs for Mac http://www.cadoutpost.com/catalog.html

Better Homes and Gardens are rumored to be working on a Mac version, but that may be a way off.

I kind of like Sketchup but it is probably a little too professional for what you want. It is easy to learn and they have a ton of tutorials on their website though. Its really nice for doing quick and dirty 3D models of projects.
