So this morning I started to use my fully charged iPhone7 and noticed battery life was draining fairly quickly. Faster than it ever did on my iPhone 6. It also started to feel warm. I went to Settings>Battery and noticed the Home/Lock Screen used 48% of the battery. Anyone know why this is happening and how to stop it? Also the phone getting warm, I'm not sure if it's related to the battery drain situation. I'm grateful for any help of guidance.

Was your phone still restoring in the background? Still restoring photos perhaps? The restore process can heat the phone up quite a bit.

The phone now has the raise to wake feature, I noticed the same thing happening to me. If you go to settings>Display & Brightness, you can turn off raise to wake. I think me just moving was turning on the screen with my phone in my pocket. I also noticed when it was on my bed and I sat down it kicked on the screen.
