Hi Guys,

Been trying to find a thread for this but to no avail...

Is it possible to create your own .apps for the iPhone, but for free? I know I could make a web page with the correct layout but the idea's are somewhat specific for storing user information....

I'm sure you can't but thought I would try as I can't really afford to buy the pack as of yet...

Cheers

If you jailbreak you can install your own unsigned apps. Otherwise you need to pay the $99 to install on your device.

Here is apple's site for developers. http://http://developer.apple.com/iphone/

First you have to buy and download the sdk which from there you can start creating your own apps and then sell them on the app store or just keep them to yourself. But remember to download the sdk you have to have a mac.

First you have to download the SDK which from there you can start creating your own apps. If you choose to either sell them on place them on your device you must then pay ($99) to become an iPhone Developer. To develop 'legally' you must have an Intel based Mac running 10.5.6 or higher. (Unless you go the jailbreak route.)
