Not a "a studio" as such..... But the nearest I've got.

HS5's sound pretty good man, they benefit loads from a good A/D though.

Here is my super temporary setup whilst i move the rack in my other room. Awful to work in, but its alright for getting Guide tracks done etc right now.

Thats still a nice setup! I will look more into the HS5's then. What DAW you use?

Normally use ProTools for real audio, 10 or 11 depending what plugins i'm using.

Then Logic for quick stuff, and use Reason with both in Re-Wire mode.

Ahh I see, very nice I use Pro Tools 11 too, love it!

Little difference in the HS5s versus the HS50s (to me ears, at least).

To save yourself getting a sub, I'd recommend the HS8s, or HS80s if you can find them mint and cheap.
