Hi

Is there anyway that I can monitor all the downloads from computers on my home network on my mac? I need to see which computers are downloading the most.

Mac would be ideal, but if anyone has heard of a useful Window client then that will do.

Any help much appreciated, thanks.

Enable SNMP, either on the Mac or on the network switch, if it supports it.

Then use an SNMP graphing tool to hook into the SNMP information and display it.

If you want historical, there are tons of apps out there including MRTG, PRTG etc.

I tried NetUse but it's not really that well suited to real-time monitoring. PeakHour is more focused on the task:
