Hey guys,
I'm anxiously awaiting my Powerbook G4 and I'm beginning to think about Home Networking options and I thought I'd see if I could get some questions answered here.
Currently I have:
Linksys Wireless-B set up plugged directly into my Vaio Desktop PC, my roommates use it wirelessly.
I am getting:
My PB with airport extreme built-in
A Linksys Wireless-G router
An HP Printer
Now I would like to know if several things are possible, and if so, how:
1.) If I can set up the printer to run through my Vaio Desktop and print wirelessly from my PB
2.) If I can extend the range of my network simply by placing the second router downstairs. Will it simply extend the range of the network (ie: Airport express) , or will I have to actually plug an ethernet into the second router.
3.) If I have to physically plug in the second router, will simply placing both routers next to each other boost the range?
Thank you in advance for any and all help that can be supplied.
