why does the web browser on the iphone not let you pick a home page for it to go to when you launch the browser.it goes to the last page you viewed.

Well it would be kind of pointless.

Just go to the website you need to go to.

Because Safari on the iphone technically never quits. Unless you reset the app or totally turn off the iphone, Safari always brings up the last page you visited.
