Is Home Sharing working on anyone's IOS 18 Beta 2? Mine shows the option to access my library, when I choose it, nothing happens/loads.

I can’t get it working so far either on iOS18 public beta1.

In the music app, i don’t see the home sharing option at all.
In the TV app i do see home sharing… but selecting it just hangs at a blank library.

All other devices (still on iOS17) connect without issues. So the local library isn’t the issue.

Edit: ok i have now found the option to switch to the home sharing library in the Music app, but it still doesn’t seem to do anything when selecting it.

1st I rebooted the mac hosting my library (not sure if this made any difference tbh), then tried again.

The behaviour on the iOS18 device was the same as before, with no visible reaction after selecting the home sharing library. However after approx. 3 - 4 minutes of seemingly doing nothing, the display suddenly switched to show the home sharing library.

I do have quite a large media library on my mac, and it does take a minute or two for my iOS17 devices to load it as well. But at least in iOS17 there is an indication that the connection was in progress. In iOS18 however there seems to be no visual indication that it is doing anything during the connection process.

Thank you! I did what you suggested (minus rebooting my Mac) and it worked without issue. I am just chalking it up at the moment to it being a beta and there will be bugs along the way.
