Home Sharing while asleep

Does anyone have home sharing working while their Mac is asleep?

As I understood it, the home share was meant to stay available during sleep, and using the home share would wake the Mac up. I have wake on network access enabled in settings but when my Mac goes to sleep the home share disappears from the library drop down menu in Apple Music on my iPhone, iPad and Apple TV.

Thanks. I traced the problem to an app called Air Server. It must have been using a port needed by Home Sharing.
