I am running Big Sur on my 2017 MacBook Pro (v11.0.1).
I am running High Sierra on my 2011 Mac mini (v 10.13.6)
Home sharing is fully enabled on both devices, yet I cannot see the Mac mini Library in the MacBook Pro Music app.

The MacBook Pro is running an iTunes Match based library with all media held in the cloud.
The Mac mini is running a local library with a far larger selection of media held on an external hard rive

In all other cases, sharing is working fine.

I can see the MacBook Pro music library in iTunes on the Mac Mini and can transfer files.
I can also see both the MacBook Pro Library and the Mac mini library on the iPhone Music App

I can screen share between both computers on the network.
I can access and copy files between both devices.

I have de-authorised and re-authorised both computers via the iTunes store
Likewise, I have disabled home sharing on both machines, rebooted them, re-enabled home sharing and rebooted again.

I still cannot access the MacMini library from the MacBook Pro and have now run out of ideas.

Can anyone help me get the home sharing working properly please ?

Thanks

Geoff
