I have a homemade DVD. I want to take the video off of the DVD (its only video, there's no menu) and put it into imovie, or another program, so I can compress it and put it on the web. Any advice on how to go about this?

I would think since it's not a commerical dvd either would work? I just used iMovie to compress a movie clip to QT for me but that might be different since it came from my MiniDV right into iMovieLet me know as I'm interested as well in the process (the right way without making extra work or taking extra space).

Using Handbrake, you can go directly from the DVD to a QuickTime format.
