Hi,
Do you know how to reduce basses or make the sound less loudness?

Thanks in advance
Fabio

Maybe putting it on small stands, so it is off of just a flat surface might lessen the bass. But I now think updates have improved the sound. For much popular music it may still be too much bass, but I listen to a large assortment of music. I'm pretty happy with my 2 stereo homepods' sound now.

Have you tried setting "Sound Check" to 'on' under the HomePod settings? This does an equalization so that the loudness is consistent from song to song for a more 'even' experience. Interestingly, it will not do this to sequential album tracks so that the artist's original mastering in equalization is maintained. Dunno if it helps your problem, but neat none-the-less. Good luck.

That didn't solve but wow, the reason was that it was against the wall....somewhere on internet I read about that, so I immediately moved my HomePod in a different place and I am completely satisfied about the music quality totally different from before! Incredible that they didn't document this everywhere...
