HomePod is here. Where is 11.3 and Airplay 2?

It was my understanding (or maybe my assumption) that Airplay 2 and iOS 11.3 would launch with HomePod. Is this not the case?

Apple has already announced its coming this Spring.

It is not the case. Later in the year.

Try next month for airplay 2 the stereo mode is coming soon and then multi room audio is going to probaly be later later this year.
