HomePod HomePod Minis as computer speakers

Anyone who's using two HomePod minis as computer speakers, how do you like it? I know in the past people complained there was a lag, is this still there? Are there any issues you run across? How happy are you with the overall sound quality? And have you compared it against other speakers in the $200 range and can say how they compare?

I have heard they're very good quality and I do like the aesthetics with my Mac setup and how compact they are, so that's a big selling point for me if the sound quality is very good and there's no issues.

I tried it with my new HomePod 2's. (I have 2)
I've had issues with Ventura on my iMac and AirPlay to them going silent. It thinks it's playing sound through them, but there's no sound. Only fix is rebooting the iMac. (Rebooting the pods doesn't fix it)

Other issue is doing a zoom or teams call... creates an echo for folks on the other end.
