iOS17 promised “Google” type contextual support for Siri. Not that I’ve seen. Tested tonight.
Asked my HomePod to… “Siri, turn off kitchen lights and turn on bedroom light.” She gave me the same answer as always. “Can’t. Setup a theme or shortcut instead.”
Meanwhile I ask Google the same thing and it does it. :/
Then I did the other test. “Siri, what’s the temperature outside? (she says) then I follow up immediately with “what’s the capital of the USA?” CRICKETS. So…either Siri doesn’t know geography or this stuff ain’t working. Google handled that one just fine, as well.
