i dont think anything beats lockinfo, free, and easy to install and config. if your ok with winterboard that is.

lockinfo isn't free, it's $4.99.
statusnotifier is free, but it is not really close.

yes...$5 is great for somebody that keeps it updated everyday, and will help answer emails if you have probs....besides that its a very useful app.

Thinking about giving lockinfo another try. Seemed to me the last time I tried it it was hard to set up. Come to think of it, that may have been Intelliscreen that was difficult.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 3_1_2 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/528.18 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile/7D11 Safari/528.16)

Installed LockInfo with 14 day trial. I have to say this is great for those of us that don't want to mess with the complexity of Intelliscreen. Great functionality right out of the box, and controlled from within the native settings app. Very impressive, and very likely to keep this after the trial.

i love lockinfo with gruppled. it's a lot of work to get going but it's worth it.

i'm definitely paying for it

Can you read your emails using LockInfo or does it only give you a preview? Intelliscreen allows you to read the entire email without unlocking your phone and you can also launch mail right from the lockscreen.

How nice if someone steals your phone.

What is the word on that new program smartscreen or whatever it's name is.

i've been using LockInfo since i got my 3gs, but am interested in SmartScreen. should be getting close to release. no word yet on price though.

That looks really cool! Apple is going to allow this in the Appstore?

I like the clean, simple design of LockInfo but I prefer the interaction of Intelliscreen. Being able to view and delete emails from the lockscreen is very useful for me. And if someone steals my phone or if I lose it I would immediately change the email login credentials anyway.

Smartscreen is definitely pretty cool, but I don't think I want that on my lock screen... I like having LockInfo on because it's simple and informative.

Smartscreen is something I'd like to have on something like a netbook that has more screen space! :D

Springboard Keeps collapsing

I'm running the MultiBar LS with Gruppled LockInfo....This updated and since the update I can't keep the Springboard up. I'm on a 3gs with 3.1.2 and with LockInfo configured and haven't had a problem until now. Any ideas?

Wrong thread.

Turn off your themes. You have two lockscreen themes running if you have MultiBar and Gruppled.

I haven't tried Smart, Intelli, or anything else except Grippled LockInfo. I don't twitter, but I do like the weather and calender.....It just seems like I can't change the clock or font sizes on LockInfo. Anybody have a link to a site that might provide me this info? I appreciate it.
