What’s up guys, I literally made this account to go off on a tangent about the issues my brand new iPhone is having. I usually just read when it comes to things like forums. It takes a ****ton for me to go out of my way to make an account to do all this.
I just bought a new iPhone 8 two weeks ago. It was working perfectly fine for about 2 days. The 3rd day from then until now, this problem happens just about every single day.
The haptics just stops working. Everything, even the home button goes completely mute, it’s supposed to vibrate when you press on it but the haptics isn’t there. Speakers don’t work. Phone lags when somebody calls you, or when you call them. This happens all at once too by the way... Have to restart the phone to TEMPORARILY fix the problem. It comes back, sometimes even in multiple occurrences a day.
Brought it to the apple store. Of ****ing course, the problem wasn’t there when they were checking it. Guy at Genius Bar plugged it up to a dock to run some analysis on the speaker system and haptics system. Came back as “no issues found” (obviously when the problem isn’t happening at the time, it’s an intermittent problem). They said there’s nothing they could do. “Even if the problem was there, we could send it somewhere I forgot(?) where they’ll try to diagnose the problem and we’ll give you an iPhone 6S to use in the meantime”. Man **** all of that, I’ve done research and have read that hundreds of people have had this same problem since last year. So if the Genius Bar seems confused to this “new” problem then they obviously have not fixed or addressed the issue yet.
So now I’m stuck with a phone that messes up on a daily occasion. No, I have not dropped my phone because I’m extremely careful with my devices. And yes, I have checked my settings and made sure the correct functions are switched to on. Lol, I guess it really is just my luck but every iPhone I’ve had so far has had some weird issue where I had to take it back to apple (to which they give me a brand new replacement, or they fix the problem for free).
