I think I have met my match with Mac OS X. .

I have used iPhoto and my HP 318 Photosmart camera for a few weeks now. But for the first time- something has went wrong - - -

Besides being reallllly sllloooow - which is really not-normal the program will not print anything. Not even PDFs!

I have an Epson C80 and have printed perfect pictures before with no real issues- besides a little tweeking. .

The print dialog box comes up - says "Processing Page 1. . " and has freezes. Even in the dreaded Force Quit box has iPhoto in the red.

I have reinstalled iPhoto- and well no luck.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks!

Matt

delete the preferences

repair permissions

oh, and to speed it up, you can turn off those shadow backgrounds on the pics.

I deleted the preference files ( I hope those are those .com.apple.iphoto . . . thingys)

And can I repair the permissions using Cocktail?

Matt:)

best way to repair permissions is thru the osx install disc or boot from an external partition. Run disc utility and youll see it.
