I am watching the event now and I am disappointed. If you take a good look at the way they operate, you will see the weaknesses of the Android platform.
The Android Market cannot be compared to the App Store for example.
Have a look at the apps Google is pushing with Honeycomb. A CNN App? That is really great news!
The game they showed was really jerky and far from impressive.
Google doesn't know how to create excitement about anything. While they are waiting for Lady Killer to come online, they are talking about In App purchases. Now, where did I hear that first?
I also got the impression that Honeycomb, like all other Android versions, works well for people that are using Google Services. The rest is left outside and there is nothing you can do about it.
Honeycomb does bring some nice things to tablets, but I find its interface too complicated and cluttered. I do like the browser though. The rest is like Android on steroids...
Why does everyone bring his own tablet? Couldn't they run all demos on one tablet? What is the catch here?
