I was surprised no one has posted a thread about this. Similar price to the OnePlus 6t, arguable better looking, better processor. Seems interesting.

Weary about a sliding phone, mainly because of the lack of good protective case.

Nobody posted this yet because the folks here are mostly Samsung/Pixel/OnePlus fanboys.

Back to the phone, Honor is pushing interesting things. But this slider thing seems to be just a "me too" attempt after the Mi Mix 3/Oppo Find X.

I'm more interested in Honor's attempts on the mid-range market, where they are one of the few OEMs pushing ample storage (128GB) as standard while the rest are still on 32GB/64GB standard.

Slider looks like the 2nd best option currently out after dual screen. Death of notch is near.

in-screen sensors (holy grail) > dual screen > slider > retracting camera > smaller V notch > bigger notch
