Hoping to clean out bloat on Macbook Air, run as clean as possible

I'm trying to set up my macbook for a clean python environment to use with my upcoming classes, and wanted to know if there are any good solutions for clearing out unneeded, junk, or bloat in my system, without a clean install again. I think a lot of things are coming through from previous backups and I want to make sure I have a really good and stable environment built.

I think there are a lot of files that are on my mac that I no longer need, related to uninstalled software, but Im not sure how to track it down and remove it in the most efficient way.

I'd also like some advice on setting up python in the best way, with a realistic industry work flow.

I use MacCleaner Pro for getting rid of junk. Works great!

CleanMyMac? No way. Probably don't need or want Malwarebytes.
Yes, less is more. Every background task takes away some.
I think a dual-core system will need to be replaced.
Don't avoid clean install. Clone and insure it boots properly.
Then install and sorry but fresh install only of all apps will pay dividends.

You are really running Docker on air?
While you may be could clean this up manually or may be using some app, if you really want clean fast and reliable system, wipe, install fresh macOS, and add only needed apps. It is the only fool proof way.
You have installed BlueStacks - when I was trying them, they were huge resource hog. May be that has improved.
MalwareBytes should not be needed, if you are not doing security challenging things.
Since I see vpn and uTorrent, this system is used for stuff I would not expose my "work" machine to. You should decide if you want fast and reliable system or system to download movies from shady sites. Those two do not mix and match.
And I see few other remnants of things which suggest, that this is well used "private" entertainment machine, not reliable "business" machine.
