In Finder on Big Sur, if I am say 7 or 8 subfolders deep in column view, I can easily swipe right on either the trackpad or Magic Mouse to scroll horizontally to the top level folder. On Monterey, it's like horizontal inertial scrolling is disabled in Finder. It just jumps over 1 or 2 columns at a time. Is there a setting I'm missing or is this 1 thing in Finder just broken for now?

I have tried toggling scrolling with inertia in the accessibility preferences all over to try to get it working, but nothing. When scrolling vertically, inertial scrolling is working as expected.

Know this is the smallest of issues, but I feel like I'm losing my mind trying to figure out how to get it back working!

Same problem here. Just received my new MacBook Pro and it looks like Monty has quite a few nasty UI bugs. Ugh. Hope that'll get sorted out soon.

I live in column view, and this is inexcusable. Was going to say 'glad I'm not the only one', but there's nothing here to be glad about. To the Feedback Button!!

Same. And much annoying. Used to be able to navigate many columns with a single swipe. Now I'm furiously pawing at my trackpad to get where I need to go. Guess am burning more calories now. Gotta close those rings.
