horrible battery life after yosemite. rmbp 2014 13inch

well so its been a couple of days and i have let os x yosemite settle.
i have the rmbp 2014 model which is a month old only. after the update I'm only getting 6:30 hrs of battery life thats what is being estimated unlike before it would show 10 hrs. is it normal? i just reseted my pram and smc and still no change

PS I'm only using safari and no other app and the brightness is also low

Mine ran hot and short for about 24 hours after the update then went back to normal temps and run times. Check activity monitor?

Check for Spotlight still indexing after the upgrade.
