So.. I was going to imageshack.us to host an image for me (free.. thanks imageshack!) and figured, I never click on any of their ads, and I have used them often enough to host pictures for me for free.. what the hell.. so I click on one of the links for an Intel Ad.

Boy, was I horrified at what came up..

ARGH!!!!!!

I'm not a myspace user and (IMO) myspace is a complete waste of time, but I understand that there are a ******** of people on there, but for those of you who do use it.. how do you feel about Intel using myspace to advertise to you? I'm sure they're not the only one.. but.. if I WAS a myspace user, my interest in it would seriously falter.

How sad do you have to be to request to be a friend of Intel?

To be on myspace is pretty sad to start with.

Myspace is at least as much about commerce as it is about the social networking thing. It's not usually presented that way in other media, but the site is filled with corporate pages like this one.

The obligatory catchall: "Other" -- I use it for business

So arn should take down his http://www.myspace.com/macrumors account?
He should at least remove the suggestive pictures of himself with those older Macs. I don't think it conveys the appropriate image for our site.

Or at least the one we want to convey.

Really, though, what geek didn't have a thing for Lisa back in her day?
