Horse Anatomical Diagram / Vector Illustration.

Hi, this is my first post in this part of the Forum... Not too sure if anyone can help me here, but I'm working on a Freelance project that requires a Anatomical Diagram / Illustration of a horse. Does anyone know a good place to source this sort of thing, preferably for free?!

May be asking a bit much there, but thanks for any help!

If not, please provide an example of the style you're after...

If that's the one, then it would be worth asking them if you can use it or just create your own in illustrator based on that.

There seems to be plenty of sources on google.

Hi, thanks for the link, yeah that's the sort of thing I'm looking for, but if possible available as a vector illustration. I've searched google images, and found some good examples, unfortunately, as you can imagine the resolutions not great.

I'm sure there are plenty of illustrators, including myself, who will happily do this for money. Since this is for a client of yours you should bill this client, and not ask for a couple of hours of free work on some internet forums.

I was actually wondering if there were any resources out there that anyone knew of that may be of help. I never asked anyone to do anything for free. When budgets are tight, surely it's only natural to see what you can source for free. Now I'm not suggesting, or even requesting that anyone should do this for free, I have a very good idea of the amount of work involved in such an illustration. I was simply investigating my options. Depends on the definition of "a couple".

I was simply investigating my options. But when you have an attitude like that, it's easy to see why you're posting replies in internet forums instead of getting paid to illustrate.

Then I'd say your options are:

1) Pay someone to get the job done or look in stock photo/illustration archives - like www.corbis.com

2) Think of some other way to finish your project that doesn't involve the required illustration.

I seriously doubt you'll find the vector illustration you look for for free.

Apart from that I do get paid to illustrate, because I do not work for people who want stuff for free.

I saw something that could do at a stock illustration site for $770 USD. Your probability of finding this for free is limited to your ability and willingness to do it yourself.

You can buy credits for 1$ each. Vectors are usually between 5-20 credits each.

I did an advanced search for vectors only and searched "horse skeleton" and these popped up.
