Hot iPhone on 12.3.1

While using 12.3.1 I noticed that my iPhone is getting warmer than it used to be. I'm using an iPhone X.
Do you experience this problem too?
 
My XS has been overheating more frequently. It hasn’t even been that warm outside - lows 80s.
 
So it may be a software update? I tried iOS 13 and the overheating is still present.
