Hi guys I'm new here and have a question about hotmail. I can't seem to reply to emails (when using hotmail) without having the original message turn out all in code. I have talked to hotmail supoort and they say it's because the sender is using text rich format and that firefox and safari (the browser I'm using) can't handle this format, however I have asked firends using mac's (who use the same browser) and they don't seem to be having this problem, is there something I can change on my computer settings to fix this problem or am I stuck with it...HELP PLEASE! thanks guys...oh BTW I'm using OSX10.4.2

pretty sure you don't need an invite anymore, its public now.

edit: apparently you still need a cell phone to recieve a text message though, interesting...

Thanks guys for the offer but I have one already..and I seriously might change over for good if this problem can't be slolved! but I hope I can fix this problem cause most of my contacts have the hotmail addy already...any other suggestion? Thanks

Nope, it's not public yet, so you do still need an invite. I think there were rumours a short while ago that it was going to go invite-free, but as of yet (1 minute ago) you can't sign up without one! :)

There was a time long ago when M$ did not own Hotmail. I've had problems in Safari, but FireFox usually fares better. Still not great, but usually works. Stoopid Micro$oft.

Thanks guys for your replies...but are you saying there's no fix for this? am I doomed with this problem?? PLEASE IF ANYONE CAN HELP!!! hahah (not so funny actaully)!
