Hotspot and Swiftkey bug

I'm on iOS 9.3.1 and when I turn the hotspot on the swiftkey keyboard doesn't go all the way up... See:

Anyone else having this issue?

Yes it's a persistent issue. This happens for every custom keyboard whose frame size is larger than that of the stock keyboard. Please report the bug to apple, I have too..

I really wish Apple could change the status bar so that it doesn't require an extra line. On the iPad there's room for the text so it's all on one line. On the phone they could just use the tethering icon that's already there; we don't need the text part.
